Thermal curtains are designed to retain heat better than blackout curtains. They are typically made with multiple layers of fabric, including a thermal lining, to provide insulation and prevent heat loss. On the other hand, blackout curtains are designed to block out light and provide privacy, but they do not have the same level of insulation as thermal curtains. Therefore, if you are looking to retain heat in a room, thermal curtains would be the better option. **

Black blackout blinds do not attract the sun, but they do absorb sunlight and heat. This can make the room warmer, especially if the blinds are in direct sunlight. However, blackout blinds are designed to block out light completely, so they are effective at keeping a room dark even in bright sunlight. **

The choice between shutters and roller blinds ultimately depends on personal preference and the specific needs of the space. Shutters offer a classic, elegant look and can provide better insulation and light control. On the other hand, roller blinds are a more modern and versatile option, offering a wide range of colors and fabrics to choose from, as well as easy operation and maintenance. Consider the style of the room, the desired level of light control, and the overall aesthetic when making the decision between shutters and roller blinds. **
